The weather was more gloomy for the X30 final, decisive for the 2011 French Cup, but everyone knew that the show will not fail to be interesting on a wet and slippery track. Nicolas Picot, winner of the prefinal, had technical problems during the formation lap and may not start. Cedric Magnet (Intrepid) took the lead, and the first corner was going well, but the hairpin by the campsite saw a big crash at the back of the pack. Sebastien Rambaud (Sodi) was in second place ahead of Sebastian Pastorek (Energy). Anthony Cout (Mirage) come back strongly in 4th place. Rambaud made a mistake, so Pastorek moved up to 2nd place, Cout 3rd, Quentin Ruch (MRO) 4th. There was also a good comeback from Nicolas Amiel, the 2010 winner, in fifth, was Pierre Henri Janicaud (Energy).
Cout put pressure on Pastorek and ultimately passed on the right after 16 laps. Magnet, the leader had less than a second lead ahead of Cout, while Janicaud, 5th, was the fastest on the track. The top 3 came together and drove some very different lines. Cout then got between Pastorek and Magnet. Janicaud approached. John Barbe (Tecno) appeared in 6th position behind Ruch.
Janicaud passed Magnet to take 3rd place and set a new fastest lap. He was now in second place ahead Pastorek, less than one second behind the leader, Anthony Cout. He does not give up, but Cout was a long way away and headed toward victory and the French Cup. 2nd was Janicaud 3rd Pastorek.
